The Robert Taylor Group reviewed the coverages the town had, then came up with a plan that would help the town employees understand the coverages and the benefits choices employees had. Ken took the time to explain the benefits portal to staff. The portal just makes everything crystal clear, which gives the employees a sense of understanding of their entire benefits package.

One thing that Ken and his group do is to frequently ask what we need. They genuinely want to know what success looks like for the town and then the group goes out to solve that issue.

The Town of Manteo recently partnered with The Robert Taylor Group (RTG) as our Benefits Administrator and I’d like to share our experience during this transition.

When first contacted by Ken Lang from RTG, we were in the process of changing Finance Directors and partnering with an employee benefits administrator was not on my radar. He understood but offered to follow up once I had enough time to get situated in my new position. Him and his team did follow through with getting back in touch with us and held our hand during the process of setting up our account with RTG as well as helping us partner with a payroll processing company that coordinates with their team. They were on-site during our open enrollment and personally met with each employee to ensure they understood their benefits and how any changes or exclusions affected them.
